Six years ago, you were going to lunch with friends and hitting happy hour with the Chamber. Then overnight, you couldn't leave your house. Your entire support system evaporated.

I think we're right back at that exact same moment.

A new study from the Media and Journalism Research Center analyzed 40,000 social media posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. Their finding? Nine out of ten posts are now created using AI.

Nine out of ten.

The short story: most people have stopped trying to be themselves online. You scroll past my show, and 90% odds say the post before me and after me wasn't created by a person.

It all sounds the same. You know that AI voice—the choppy sentences, the "it's not this, it's that" construction. We're all kind of doing it, but I don't think we're fooling anybody.

So here's the question I keep asking myself:

Is it better to be present—or to have presence?

Is it better to fill your customer’s feed with robotic junk, or to actually be real?
To have an opinion? To share what you believe?

I’m doing what I think you should do - get live, get real, get authentic and strip away all of the phoniness from AI aggregation and “best of” social media performance. It’s time to build TRUST and authentically reconnect.
